Mullite Brick

Blast Furnace Performance

This range normally falls between 50% and 90% alumina, ie. having refractoriness of over SK35. The normal raw material constituents are alumina in the form of bauxite, Andalusite, Mullite or sintered / fused alumina.

Good strengths, thermal shock resistance, good / high corrosion resistance and alkali resistance are just some of the properties found within these products.

Typical applications include:
re-heating furnaces – ladles – EAF roofs – incinerators – heat treatment furnaces (reducing atmospheres where low iron is necessary) – furnace hearths – cement / lime shaft kilns – ceramic kilns and rotary furnaces etc.

Predominant applications:
ferrous – non ferrous – cement / lime incineration etc.

We have numerous supply lines of quality material and below is an example typical data sheet of one of those options.
