We are one of the fastest growing companies in the group and have been highly active in the area of renewable energies for more than ten years. The three main segments in which we are active in this area are wind energy, photovoltaics and biomass. In the wind energy segment, we offer the PITCH servo controllers PITCHmaster and PITCHmaster II as well as complete drive systems for electric rotor blade controls for wind turbines. The delivery of over 5,000 systems and components delivered until 2007 makes us a leading supplier worldwide. In the biomass segment, the company develops and produces systems for the utilisation of process heat. These generators are used in biogas, bio-oil and wood gasification plants as well as solar thermal systems employing an ORC process and supply the power won from the waste heat to a central power supply system via a power inverter. In the photovoltaics segment, we offer the PVmaster 450 series. These state-of-the-art large-scale inverters for photovoltaic energy systems are available from 33 kW and are ideal for modules employing thin-film technology and silicon.
