ENN Solar is a manufacturer of high efficiency silicon-based thin film solar modules with an initial capacity of 60MW. It is the brainchild of seven scientists who gained their Ph.D. at US universities 20 years ago and worked for large US corporations in the semiconductor, solar and hi-tech industries. In 2007 they co-founded ENN Solar together with ENN Group, a large diversified clean energy company with almost $3 billion in revenue. ENN Solar procured one of the first SunFab production lines to manufacture thin film PV modules up to 5.7m2 in size with a power output up to 460 Watt. The large size and high performance saves BOS and installation cost for the project developer. ENN Solar’s scientists have a solid roadmap to increase efficiency and decrease cost to make clean renewable energy more affordable and available worldwide.
