HISTORY Energy Resources is an Italian Company operating in the renewable energies field: Energy Resources designs, engineers and installs systems of photovoltaics, geothermal, wind power, domotic for residential, industrial and public buildings. The Company has been established in 2006 and merges the skills of four professional profiles: Mr Luigi Lucchetti, electronic engineer, Mr Emanuele Mainardi inventor and engineer, Mr Enrico Cappanera technical and commercial advisor, Mr Giovanni Emidi, financial and administrative advisor. The four partners already matured important experiences in their own or in other companies having in mind and in action the exploitation of renewable sources as the main issue for future business development . Mr Lucchetti and Mr Cappanera already cooperated since 1989 for engeneering and designing electric and thermal plants. In 1999 they founded Elleci progetti a company that turned its interest to renewable resources building several photovoltaic plants in the region ; through Energy Resources a national and international level has been achieved and commitments on important developments plans established. Energy Resources three years development plan see it achieving a leading market position on international level by reaching important cooperation agreement with partners having the same goal and philosophy. ORGANIZATION The company is organized on BU level: Photovoltaic Energy Resources technical department is deeply involved in developing alternative solutions for exploiting photovoltaics more efficiently in difficult installations. Building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) are increasingly incorporated into new domestic and industrial buildings as a principal or ancillary source of electrical power, and Energy Resources’ experts are assuring the best way for the customer to get with success turn-key sistem Large or medium sized plants, family houses and industrial buildings have been successfully grid-connected having in mind the importance of building integration, architectonical and functional aspects. Energy resources, became rapidly one of the most important Italian system integrators and now turns to engineering and production of big solar plants, not only in Italy but all over the world. With this aim researches partners willing to invest in the inexhaustable source ever available: sun Geothermal Energy Resources cultivates an important research department developing new products for exploiting geothermal power more efficiently. This section recently patented a new type of geothermal probe able to strongly reduce installation costs: solution was found in varying probe geometry to increase the exchanging surface and reducing the drilling depth at the same time. The new spiral probe reduces installation costs of 30-50%. Further studies are leading to an improvement of this probe, rendering it easily transportable and installable. These new equipments is internationally patent pending. Geothermal units engineered along with photovoltaic plants have been installed with success in Italy (see reference section) Wind Power Wind Power means to Energy Resources a focus business unit. It integrates with the exploitation of other renewable energies in which the Company is concerned. Energy Resources is involved in researching suitable sites in Europe where to install a medium sized plant. Our experts carry out: Site screening, Engineering from 500 W onwards, Installation, Testing, Monitoring. New and important cooperations on international level have been established for this BU in the Mediterranean areas where wind could be a very important resource as Greece. Solar Energy Design In order to make concrete its work on renewable energies, the Company created its own design and construction department. Solar Energy Design department elaborates buildings with the following characteristics: • Energy Class A • High thermo-acustic insulation in construction materials • Photovoltaic plant for electric energy production • Geothermal plant for heating and air-cooling • Thermal solar plant for sanitary water • Domotic • Rain-water collecting system In the “Marche-shire”, on the romantic hills facing the adriatic costs, in a wine-yard landscape, perfectly integrated and typically mediterranean flavoured, Energy Resources has build the no bills village: 32 units energy autonomous and at low environmental impact with high standard finishing. The zero energy design is suitable and predictable for eco-sustainable luxury villages, spa and resorts; residential builidngs, high standard industrial builidings, commercial centres. On this direction Solar Energy Department is directing its attention at national and internarional level. Research & Development Energy Resources has an important R&S department, mostly involved in geothermal, photovoltaics and climatisation. Two new probe designs have been patented and a study on advanced stystems of production in geothermal is being carried out in cooperation with one of the most famous Italian Polythecnical Universtity (Università Politecnica delle Marche), the Energy Department and the Mathematics Department of Camerino University and the Geology Department of Urbino University. Energy Resources is member of Anagrafe Nazionale delle Ricerche (Italian Research Registry Office). Energy Resources is an Energy Service Company (ESCO) accredited by Italian Electric Energy and Gas Authority. MANAGEMENT Energy Resources is a very young company both for establishment and for average age of its management and staff. The aim is to give the opportunity of professional development and experiencing to young Italian Intelligences on their homecountry.
