Vitro Glass: Funyak named Director of Vitro Certified™ Network

Vitro Architectural Glass announced that Joanne Funyak has been appointed director of the Vitro Certified™ Network and project management.

In this new role, Funyak will oversee the Vitro Certified™ Network, which provides high-performance coated glass through regional fabricators and glass manufacturers who are dedicated to delivery of quality fabricated glass with short lead times. Through Funyak and her team, members of the Vitro Certified™ Network have access to some of the industry’s most advanced training and education on glass handling and fabrication. In addition to helping member companies ensure reliable product performance and the highest levels of quality and colour consistency, the program also provides them with priority access to advanced Vitro Glass products.

“Joanne has been an essential member of our sales support and value-added product management team at Vitro for decades, and we’re very pleased with the experience she will bring to this new role,” said Mark Seeton, vice president of sales, Vitro Glass. “Joanne’s skill at developing and maintaining trustful, person-to-person relationships is what makes so many of our clients excited to work with her, and her profound technical knowledge of Vitro products will allow her to deliver high-quality guidance and project support.”

Funyak holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Slippery Rock University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Duquesne University. Funyak has worked at PPG since 1985 and has been a part of Vitro’s flat glass business segment since the company acquired PPG in 2016.
