Dominique Bossan takes over as new head of Knauf Insulation

Dominique, who previously held senior posts within the Knauf Group and Knauf Insulation, takes over the company’s leadership from Jean-Claude Carlin who is stepping down after five years. 

Knauf Group General Partner Alexander Knauf says: “The Knauf Group Management is delighted to welcome Dominique to this exciting role. He is an exceptional leader who knows our business extremely well. We are confident he will build on the outstanding results Jean-Claude and the company has achieved in recent years.”

Dominique joined Knauf Insulation in Belgium in 2003 and two years later was appointed Regional Managing Director for Eastern Europe, a position he held until 2017. Since 2018 he has been in the Knauf Group Management responsible for the Knauf Gypsum’s region of Western Europe, South America and Israel.

Dominique, who will be again based at Knauf Insulation’s Headquarters in Visé, Belgium, says: “I am thrilled to return to Knauf Insulation. I have always admired the company’s culture of entrepreneurship and make-it-happen customer centricity as well as the passion and commitment of its people.

“Jean-Claude, the management team and everyone at Knauf Insulation should be exceptionally proud of what has been achieved in recent years. I am now looking forward to maximising this success to create exciting new opportunities in the future — a future defined by our leadership and innovation For A Better World.”

Dominique is a French citizen, married with three children.
