Customer focus on Regency Glass

, AGC Glass

AGC customer Regency Glass is celebrating the grand opening of their new factory. Significant investment in new 100,000ft2 premises and new machinery including; 2 x Bystronic High speed IGU line, 3 x Hegla high volume glass cutting lines and 2.8m x 6m toughening plant, able to process the intake sheet size of up to 2.55m x 3.21m, all sees Regency Glass expanding their horizons with new customers and new markets.

Comments Steve Massey, Director Sales and Marketing, 'Regency Glass is well regarded by our customers thanks to our service commitment to deliver high quality sealed units on time and in full but we've been working at capacity for a number of years. The new investment allows us to double our capacity and enable us to grow our business with our existing customers as well as maximise our opportunities with new customers and widen our geographical reach thanks to new delivery vehicles'.

The new site is located less than a mile away from the old factory, an important factor in the decision making process, meaning the team has retained its experienced staff. An onsite canteen run by local charity 'Compassion in Action' offers the team quality food whilst supporting the charity which assists vulnerable people in crisis back to independent living.

AGC is Regency Glass' preferred partner for patterned glass including Imagin Crepi and Kura. The larger stock sheet dimensions 3350mm x 1850mm offer excellent cutting optimisation and the possibility to produce large units for domestic windows.
