Yener Ciner, of Ciner Glass Lommel, said: “We felt the warmth and professionalism that this club radiate from our first contacts.

“The values and ambitions that Lommel SK stands for fit perfectly with ours. In order to encourage enough people to become part of the Ciner Glass family, we want to increase our brand awareness in Lommel and in the wider region, for which the partnership with the Lommel club is a wonderful opportunity.

“Naturally, we also closely monitor the club's results!”

Lennert Lodewijks, Commercial Manager Lommel SK: “Every supporter or sympathizer of the club knows someone who has once worked in the Lommel glass industry.

“We are therefore pleased that we can help Ciner Glass increase their brand recognition in our region and that we can trigger candidate employees for the new employer through our channels. “Moreover, their objectives are seamlessly aligned with ours regarding development, community and sustainability.

“The link between our club and glass production is woven into our club logo, in which the laurel branches have been given a sharp edge, a reference to traditional glass production in the region.”

Ciner Glass and Lommel SK will continue their collaboration until at least June 2025.

The partnership got off to an ideal start with Lommel beating rivals RFC Liège 4-1 at the weekend.
