PLANSEE products prove themselves in the lighting and electronics industries as well as in medical, energy and coating technologies. Because of their special properties they are also employed in plant and furnace construction as well as in numerous materials- and technology-related applications.

To extend this lead further we strive for continous improvement of our capabilities and closeness to the market and have established the group initiative "Operational Excellence" for this purpose. PLANSEE Metall GmbH has been founded to co-ordinate production, sales and development within our core refractory metals activities and to implement strategies for focusing and optimising the business.

Based on our knowledge of powder metallurgy, several product and applications innovations have been developed for new business options. Some of them are already close to commercial breakthrough and should contribute to additional growth in the next few years.
