XPAR Vision to Present on AI Driven Process Intelligence at Glassman Latin America

, XparVision

Paul Schreuders, Non Executive Board Member at XPAR Vision, will present “System Intelligence Through Collaboration” during Glassman Latin America 2026 in Mexico City.

The presentation will take place on Wednesday, May 20, from 13:00 to 13:20 at Expo Santa Fe and will focus on the future role of AI driven process intelligence within container glass manufacturing.

According to XPAR Vision, the glass industry has historically invested heavily in cold end and hot end inspection systems to identify defective containers after the forming process. While these technologies remain essential for quality assurance, the company argues that the industry’s next major step lies in moving from reactive defect detection toward proactive process control.

Drawing on more than 25 years of experience in hot end image processing and glass manufacturing, XPAR Vision highlights the growing importance of understanding defect root causes in real time. The company believes that integrating forming dynamics, machine behavior and environmental process data can significantly improve production stability while reducing operator dependency.

The presentation will also address how AI supported forming process control could help manufacturers reduce defect generation, improve lightweighting strategies, increase efficiency and achieve more consistent product quality.

XPAR Vision further emphasizes that technological readiness is no longer the main limitation. Instead, the company sees organizational structures and traditional production approaches as key barriers slowing the adoption of intelligent manufacturing strategies in the container glass sector.

The company therefore calls for closer collaboration between technology suppliers and glass manufacturers, with stronger partnerships focused on shared operational insights, process data and long term production goals.

Glassman Latin America takes place on May 20 and 21 in Mexico City and focuses on technologies and solutions for the glass manufacturing industry.
