Doors opened in Istanbul today to welcome visitors from across the world to view the latest developments in primary glassmaking equipment and services.

Day one
attracted a broad spectrum of decision makers from glass manufacturing companies across Turkey, throughout Europe and as far afield as Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Tunisia to meet and do business with worldwide glassmakers and suppliers.
Todays visitors included Sisecam, Arda Glass, Arslan Ambalaj, Pasabahce, Anadolu Cam, City Glass, Arabian United Float Glass, Hanci Glass, Niche Glass, Cam Elyaf Sanayi, Marmara Cam to name a few!

It was standing room only in the conference room for the opening presentation from glass industry giants Sisecam who discussed their plans to increase energy saving practices within the company including better heat transfer into glass; increase in air preheat temperature; waste heat recovery and higher cullet usage.

Graham Womersley, Sales Director of leading conveyor chain manufacturers Pennine Industrial said:
