Wiegand-Glas has once again been awarded the Silver rating by the international sustainability platform EcoVadis in 2026. We are particularly pleased that, compared with the previous year, we have significantly improved our overall score from 72 to 79 points. The biggest improvements were made in the areas of ethics, sustainable procurement, and labour and human rights. In the environmental category, we once again confirmed our already very high standard with 87 points.
Effective measures lead to significant improvements
With 79 points, Wiegand-Glas ranks among the top 93 per cent of all companies assessed by EcoVadis in 2026. This significant improvement in our overall rating is the result of numerous measures implemented over recent years, ranging from the further development of our compliance and ethical standards, through sustainable procurement processes, to measures and investments in labour, environmental and climate protection. The renewed Silver rating confirms that we are on the right track and motivates us to continuously build on our sustainability performance.
