Shaping the future of holographic windshield displays

, Saint-Gobain

Saint-Gobain Sekurit, together with ZEISS Microoptics, tesa, and Hyundai MOBIS, has launched QuadAlliance, an initiative bringing together four industry leaders to accelerate the industrialization of Holographic Windshield Displays (HWD).

As essential player to turn the HWD idea into reality, at Saint-Gobain Sekurit, we bring our leading expertise in automotive glazing, seamlessly integrating holographic films into laminated windshields that meet the highest standards of optical performance, safety, and durability. With deep knowledge in windshield displays, from HUD, AR-HUD windshields to more recent innovations such as Sekurit Immersive Vision, we play a key role in combining all system components while ensuring a strong display quality.

This alliance will open the way for production of a breakthrough display technology that enhances safety, design freedom, and efficiency, while reducing weight and energy consumption. The vehicle's windshield is used as a massive display without a separate physical screen, enabling drivers to view driving information without distracting their gaze. The system is also designed to prevent the driver from viewing the passenger-side screen, allowing the passenger to safely enjoy various infotainment features.   Together, we are transforming windshields into intelligent, transparent display interfaces for the next generation of vehicles.

Thank you to our partners. Let’s shape the future together.
