Project Update: Site Visit at Visy Glass in Australia

, Zippe Industrieanlagen GmbH

Sometimes, real progress happens exactly where a project takes shape: directly on site.

As part of the ongoing project execution, Joachim Ullrich, Head of the Electrical & Process Automation Department, traveled to Australia to work closely with our customer and the local project team.

The visit focused on reviewing the current construction progress, aligning on upcoming project phases, and ensuring that customer requirements and expectations are fully reflected in the next steps of project delivery.

Key focus areas of the site visit:

First-hand review of the current construction progress together with the customer

Alignment of technical requirements and expectations for the next project stages

Strengthening collaboration between customer, onsite team, and project partners ahead of the Christmas break

Preparing a smooth and transparent transition during and after the seasonal holidays

In-depth customer discussions on technical and organizational aspects of the upcoming phases

Detailed coordination of commissioning phases, including documentation scope, responsibilities, and workflows

These on-site discussions and alignments provide valuable input for planning and execution, ensuring that all teams are fully aligned with the customer’s goals as the project moves into its next stages in 2026.

Because successful project delivery is not only about plans and timelines — it’s about strong partnerships, open communication, and teams working together to deliver value and drive progress across continents
