Im Rahmen der Generalreparatur der Wanne 4 fand am 29. April 2025 der Glasablass in Boffzen, im Werk von Noelle + von Campe statt.
Glasschmelztechnik-Spezialist HORN stattet die sanierte, umweltfreundliche Wanne 4 mit neuester, emissionsarmer Technik aus und ist für die komplette Detailplanung des Feuerfestmaterials sowie der Stahlverspannung für den Ofen, Verteilerwanne und fünf Vorherde verantwortlich.
HORN´s Expertenteam führt in diesem Projekt sowohl den Glasablass, den Abbruch, die komplette Bauleistung für Feuerfestmaterial, Stahl und Ausrüstung als auch das Tempern durch.
Die neue regenerative U-Flammenwanne wird voraussichtlich im Juli 2025 in Betrieb genommen werden.
