AGC Glass Europe übernimmt die deutschen OEM-Bestandskunden für Brandschutzglas von Etex.
Als multinational aufgestellte Unternehmensgruppe fertigt und vertreibt Etex neben seinen nachhaltigen Werkstoffen und Lösungen für die Bauwirtschaft und Industrie auch Isolier- und Brandschutzwerkstoffe der Marke Promat.
Dieses wichtige, von Etex als führendem Hersteller und Lieferant von Brandschutzgläsern bediente Marktsegment umfasst vorwiegend deutsche Entwickler und Hersteller von Industrietüren mit passiven Brandschutzeigenschaften. „Mit dieser Erweiterung seiner Geschäftstätigkeit unterstreicht AGC einmal mehr das Ziel, die europäische Führungsposition bei Brandschutzgläsern auszubauen und direkt in den für diese Glasart strategisch wichtigen deutschen Markt zu investieren“, so Guibert de Bonhome, Leiter der Unternehmenseinheit für Fire-Resistant Glass bei AGC Glass Europe. AGC und Etex werden alles unternehmen, um den Übergang für die OEM-Kunden so einfach wie möglich zu gestalten. AGC wird die Zusammenarbeit mit Etex auch in anderen Segmenten dieses Markts fortsetzen.
