Glas Trösch Group plans to take over Scheuten Glass

Swiss family-enterprise Glas Troesch intends to acquire Scheuten International B.V., based in the Netherlands, from the latter‘s current private-equity investor, Value Enhancement Partners. The take-over is still conditional to approval by the Competition Authority. And the works-council is being consulted as well. The acquisition would comprise the entire Scheuten group, including all affiliated companies in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium and all their employees.

The intended acquisition would neither cause any changes in staffing, nor in current activities vis-a-vis business-partners. Scheuten will continue to focus on its three coreactivities in insulating glazing, projects and industrial base-glass.

The management of both groups is looking forward to the new opportunities and synergies that would be created also for their customers.
