EME successfully commissioned a new batch plant for the greenfield container glass plant of Embalvidro in Angola. The plant located in the capital Luanda will primarily produce beer bottles in amber and emerald green colors.
The batch plant is designed for a capacity of 180 tpd. A tower concept with a very small footprint was selected to reduce the building costs significantly. Additionally a high number of batch cycles is achieved because no gathering belt is needed; another positive effect is the reduction of dust producing sources thus minimizing the overall dust emission of the plant.
