Tecglass will unveil the new system for the first time worldwide at Glasstec (20 – 23 September 2016, Dusseldorf in Hall 15/D58 and Hall15/C22).

The new Vitro-Jet F Type /SP has been developed for very high-volume industrial applications (e.g. automotive and home appliances) and gives users the choice of high capacity glass decoration.
Tecglass has also added the new Xaar 2001+ dual color printheads to its existing Vitro-Jet D TYPE, I TYPE, and F-TYPE models for machines to suit medium and high volume production requirements.

"We have been using Xaar printheads for several years and are delighted to be the first company to launch an advanced digital glass decoration machine using the new Xaar 2001 to deliver the highest throughput levels in the industry today," says Javier Fernandéz, Technical Director at Tecglass

The new Xaar 2001 delivers a powerful combination of market-leading image quality, highest productivity and industrial reliability. Ultimate image quality is achieved by jetting one colour at a resolution of up to 720 dpi with 2000 nozzles per printhead. Line speeds of up to 50 m/min ensure highest productivity and maximum throughput.

The multipurpose Xaar 2001+ family is perfect for companies looking for production flexibility. The Xaar 2001+ family of printheads features 2000 nozzles for jetting one colour at 720 dpi at high-speed, or two colours at 360 dpi each. Companies using machines featuring the Xaar 2001 and the Xaar 2001+ family of printheads will also benefit from industrial reliability delivered by multiple technologies only available in Xaar printheads. Xaar's leading TF Technology® ink recirculation and XaarGuard™ nozzle plate technologies ensure the longest maintenance-free production runs in the industry, typically once per shift or less. Plus, new XaarSMART™ technology reports ink temperature and printhead status so that printer performance can be optimised in real time, providing consistent print quality throughout the production run even as factory conditions change.

"We're very pleased that Tecglass has launched such innovative glass decoration machines so quickly – enabling their customers to take advantage of powerful new features and manufacturing benefits", says Gillian Ewers, Director of Marketing at Xaar. "We are committed to the ongoing development of our printheads to give industrial decoration specialists market-leading printheads that deliver the ultimate in flexibility, quality and productivity."
