Moderne Laminations-Techniken und Glasformate bis 20 Meter erlauben eine nahezu fugenlose Wirkung von großflächigen Ganzglasfassaden und -dächern. War bislang diese Wirkung nur mit Verbund-Sicherheitsgläsern erreichbar, ermöglicht eine neue sedak-Entwicklung gleiches jetzt auch mit Isoliergläsern.
sedak isopure löst die typischen Stoßfugen optisch auf. Statt der konventionellen, bis zu vier Zentimeter breiten schwarzen Fuge bestehend aus Kunststoff-Spacer und Silikon kommen dafür an zwei sichtbaren Seiten gläserne Abstandhalter zum Einsatz.
In den Lagerfugen, die nach der Montage in der Haltekonstruktion nicht sichtbar sind, kommt ein konventioneller Randverbund für Isolierglas zum Einsatz, der den Scheibenzwischenraum trocken hält. Im Ergebnis entsteht ein nahezu unterbrechungsfreies Gesamtbild mit maximaler Transparenz - bei unveränderten technischen Eigenschaften des Isolierglases.
Neben den hohen Qualitätsansprüchen in der Verarbeitung und Optik, erfüllt der Glas-Spacer auch die zeitgemäßen Ug-Werte. sedak isopure ist mit Argon-Gas gefüllt und mit vielen Beschichtungen kombinierbar.
