Yanbu, Saudi Arabia – September 8, 2025 – Obeikan Glass Company proudly announces the commencement of on-site works of its second state-of-the-art Float Glass Production Line at the Yanbu Light Industrial Park with a production capacity of 650 tons per day. As part of this expansion, Obeikan has signed agreement to Supply Technology and Part of the Equipment for the new line with Liaoning Dongdaihe New District Zhongyuan Glass Industry Equipment’s Co., Ltd, a leading Chinese technology partner, to ensure world-class standards in equipment and production.
Advanced Float Glass Technology
The new facility adopts the advanced Float Glass process, producing Clear and Tinted Float Glass in thicknesses ranging from 1.2 mm to 12 mm. Designed in compliance with applicable Standards, the plant will ensure international quality standards and cater to growing demand across domestic and global markets.
The expansion reflects Obeikan Glass Company’s commitment to advancing Saudi Arabia’s industrial base and fostering meaningful international collaboration. By joining forces with Liaoning Dongdaihe Zhongyuan, Obeikan is bringing cutting-edge Chinese technology into the Kingdom, ensuring the new line achieves the highest levels of efficiency, sustainability, and production excellence.
