Highlights at the FENSTERBAU FRONTALE trade show

, SWISSPACER

The Swiss-based manufacturer of premium spacers for the insulating glass and window industry is presenting new developments at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE in Nuremberg on 16-19 March 2016.

One of the highlights is SWISSPACER Air. The new product from the Kreuzlingen-based company reliably balances out pressure differences in the cavity between the panes of glass. The strains of climatic loads are passé. Different climatic conditions and differences in height between the production site and the assembly location and also during transportation of the glass no longer play a role. SWISSPACER Air is invisibly integrated into the secondary sealant.

SWISSPACER is also presenting extra-wide spacers in Nuremberg. At a size of 32 mm, the new spacers are suited to all particularly deep IGUs, for example in door panels, for glazing with integrated blinds or other built-in features, as well as special solutions.

Another highlight from SWISSPACER is the revised version of the Caluwin software tool, which is also available as an app. Caluwin can be used to analyse and optimise the energyefficiency and comfort of windows. The new version can also calculate efficiency classes for Passivhaus windows and includes a mould calculator. Caluwin is a SWISSPACER development, implemented by Sommer Informatik, Rosenheim, with technical support from the engineering office for building physics, Bauwerk, also in Rosenheim.

You can find Swisspacer at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE in Hall 7A, Stand 316.
