, glasstec

On 1 September 2025, Daniel Feische will move to the Occupational Safety & Health and Glass Technologies portfolios as the Director and will be fully responsible as of
1 December. He succeeds Lars Wismer, who is taking on the role of Regional Head Messe Düsseldorf for Asia (MDfA) in Singapore.

Daniel Feische has been with Messe Düsseldorf since October 2017. In December 2020, he took over as the Head of the New Product Development and Market Research Group within the Business Development Department. In this role, he was responsible for the launch of the Circular Valley Convention (CVC) and supported international M&A processes, including participation in the US trade fair XPONENTIAL.

“Daniel Feische has the exact strategic and international experience needed to successfully lead glasstec and A+A into the future,” says Petra Cullmann, Executive Director, Messe Düsseldorf. With his in-depth experience in business development, the conception of new event formats and international market analyses, Daniel Feische will drive forward the strategic development of the Occupational Safety & Health and Glass Technologies segments.

“glasstec has been the international flagship of the glass industry for decades – technologically leading, thematically broad and globally strongly networked. I am very much looking forward to further developing this renowned platform together with our dedicated team, providing new impetus and making the industry’s innovative strength visible for the challenges of tomorrow,” says Daniel Feische.

With this appointment, Messe Düsseldorf is relying on an experienced manager from its own ranks to expand its international portfolios in a future-proof manner as well as to further develop strategic growth markets.

glasstec – International Trade Fair for Glass Production, Processing and Products – will take place on 20-23 October 2026 at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre.
