, GLASSOLUTIONS

The UK’s largest processor, distributor, installer and repairer of glass and glass systems GLASSOLUTIONS has welcomed Adam Taylor to the business as its new Marketing Manager.

Adam is an established marketing professional with over 10 years’ experience from both manufacturers and distributors within construction. He was Assistant Product Manager at Polypipe before joining the global Saint-Gobain group in 2007 as Product Manager at Artex, rising to Senior Category Manager in July 2010 where he helped develop the British Gypsum brand within B&Q & Trade Point. He moved to Travis Perkins in January 2013 where his role as Category Manager focused on developing targeted customer propositions both in-branch & externally with full responsibility for a category of over £150 million.

GLASSOLUTIONS, part of the Saint-Gobain Group which celebrates its 350th anniversary this year, recently installed two stunning glass walkway floors at Tower Bridge in London. One of the commitments made by GLASSOLUTIONS in its anniversary year is to continue to invest in innovative materials, new ideas and new techniques for those involved in creating a better built environment.  It will also continue to put customers first and has just released the results of a 12-month customer research programme.

Adam said: “It’s great to be back at Saint-Gobain working within GLASSOLUTIONS. It’s an exciting time for GLASSOLUTIONS as we work on differentiating our offer and adding real value for our customers. I’m really pleased to be part of the future of this business.”

Mike Butterick, Marketing Director for GLASSOLUTIONS, said: “Adam has joined the senior management team and his focus is on GLASSOLUTIONS’ national glass processing and distribution activities.  He brings a wealth of experience from the boarder construction industry, supporting customers with initiatives to help them differentiate and grow their businesses profitably.”
