Das Regulatory Board der SIX Group hat auf Antrag der SIX Exchange Regulation AG entschieden, sämtliche Aktien der Meyer Burger Technology AG per 14. Januar 2026 zu dekotieren, wobei der letzte Handelstag auf den 13. Januar 2026 festgelegt wurde. Bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt wird der Handel an der SIX Swiss Exchange gemäss Entscheid des Regulatory Board gemäss den Regularien der SIX Group wieder aufgenommen.
Wie die Gesellschaft bereits Mitte September bekannt gegeben hat, bestehen gemäss Einschätzung des Verwaltungsrats der Meyer Burger Technology AG aus heutiger Sicht keine realistischen Chancen mehr für eine Rettung der gesamten Unternehmensgruppe einschliesslich der Muttergesellschaft. Für letztere wird vielmehr der Abschluss eines Nachlassvertrags angestrebt, ebenso befinden sich praktisch alle Tochtergesellschaften in Nachlass- oder Insolvenzverfahren. Weil sämtliche verbliebenen Aktiven für die teilweise Tilgung der ausstehenden Verbindlichkeiten zu verwenden sind, ist ausgeschlossen, dass den Aktionären eine Liquidationsdividende oder vergleichbare Zahlung ausgerichtet werden kann.
