BOR GLASS FACTORY WILL ESTABLISH GLASS PRODUCTION FOR CLAAS FACTORY IN KRASNODAR

OJSC AG Bor Glass Glass Plant (BSZ, Nizhny Novgorod Region) has concluded an agreement with Klaas LLC (Krasnodar branch of the German concern Claas, a manufacturer of agricultural machinery) on the production of glazing elements for the cabin of a Tucano combine harvester. The amount of the contract is not called.

According to Claas, debugging of existing lines for the production of such bulky glass has already begun at the Borsky factory. The first pilot batch will go to Krasnodar in April for test trials.

Serial deliveries are scheduled to begin in September 2020. The volume of glass produced should fully satisfy the needs of production. It is noted that now Claas produces three to four combines per day.

The release of a new product at the Borsky Zavod is planned as part of a special investment contract (SPIC) for the localization of production, signed with Claas in 2016.

According to "SPARK-Interfax", JSC "AGC Borsky glass factory" was registered in 1992 in Bor, Nizhny Novgorod region. The authorized capital is 419 million rubles. The main activity is the formation and processing of flat glass. The general director of the enterprise is Sergey Knyazev. 85.2% of the shares are owned by AGC Europe (Belgium), another 8.6% are owned by the Manara Holding GMBN (Austria). The parent company is AGC INC (Japan). At the end of 2018, with revenue of 9.65 billion rubles. The company's profit amounted to 1.83 billion rubles.
