HORN modernisiert Schmelzwanne für Stoelzle Hermanova Huť
Stoelzle Glass Group investiert in die Zukunft der europäischen Pharmaglasproduktion und modernisiert seine Produktionsstätte Hermanova Huť in der Tschechischen Republik. Der Standort zählt zu den wichtigsten europäischen Produktionsstandorten für Braunglasverpackungen und beliefert insbesondere die Pharma- und Healthcare-Branche sowie ausgewählte Anwendungen im Lebensmittel-, Getränke- und Spirituosenbereich.
Im Rahmen des umfangreichen Projekts übernimmt HORN die Planung und Umsetzung des kompletten Wiederaufbaus der Schmelzwanne.
Die Bauarbeiten hierfür starteten am 5. August 2026 mit dem Glasablass. Die Kaltreparatur der Wanne ist innerhalb eines 65-tägigen Zeitraums geplant, sodass die Produktion bereits im Oktober 2026 wieder aufgenommen werden soll.
Die Modernisierung umfasst einen vollständigen Neubau der Schmelzwanne inklusive Vorherden und Regeneratoren. Die neue U-Flammenwanne verfügt über eine vergrößerte Schmelzfläche sowie eine verdoppelte elektrische Boosting-Leistung. Dadurch werden sowohl die Produktionskapazität als auch die Energieeffizienz verbessert und gleichzeitig die spezifischen CO₂-Emissionen pro Tonne erschmolzenem Glas reduziert.
