HORN Glass Industries unterzeichnet Vertrag für eine neue 800 tpd Floatglasanlage im Irak
Die HORN Glass Industries AG hat mit Al Rida Investment einen Vertrag über die Errichtung einer neuen Floatglasanlage im irakischen Nadjaf unterzeichnet. Die Anlage wird über eine Produktionskapazität von 800 Tonnen pro Tag verfügen.
Mit diesem Projekt unterstreicht HORN Glass Industries seine internationale Projektkompetenz im Bereich Turn-Key. Die Anlage wird mit modernsten Technologien ausgestattet und leistet einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Ausbau der Glasproduktionskapazitäten in der Region.
Von besonderer Bedeutung für die Realisierung des Projekts ist die Finanzierung, die in Zusammenarbeit mit der Commerzbank AG und der AKA Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft mbH umgesetzt wird. Der Finanzierungsrahmen schafft die Grundlage für die erfolgreiche Durchführung des Projekts und unterstreicht das Vertrauen aller Beteiligten in die langfristigen Perspektiven des Vorhabens.
Die Auslieferung der Anlagenausrüstung ist für das Jahr 2027 geplant. Die Inbetriebnahme der neuen Glasanlage soll im Jahr 2028 erfolgen.
