Our position in the glass industy
For the manufacturing of decorative- and figured glass, we offer embossing rollers and smooth rollers, which are suitable for high temperature applications. Furthermore we supply rollers with plasma coatings particularly developed for cooling sections.
During glass structuring by embossing rollers, liquid cast glass is led through a rotating couple of rollers. The roller couple either consists of one embossing roller and one smooth roller or of two embossing rollers, which emboss the glass with the required structure.
Some fields of application for decorative- and figured glass are: structured glass doors, partition walls, furniture, shower rooms, windows, balustrades and balcony separations.
The structure of solar glass effects the absorbing the solar energy.
Many well-known structures are developed by Ungricht in cooperation with our customers.

Plasma coated cooling-and lay-on-rollers
For application of cooling- and lay-on-rollers UNGRICHT® supplies roller bases made of special steel qualities, particularly suitable for such applications and offers plasma coating and diamond grinding in their own facilities.
Today UNGRICHT® offers various coating, such as:
1. Chromium oxide
2. Aluminum oxide
3. Zirconium oxide
4. WCCoCr
All coatings are plasma-coated on our own production lines under control of external test laboratories under consideration of the specific quality requirements for this industry. Then the rollers are ground on special diamond grinding machines and their surfaces are completely polished.
