Three chemical engineers, who have known each other since college, have founded the STG GmbH Cottbus in early 1990 as an innovative and technology-oriented engineering company. Just 100 years after the mill was built for Cottbus the place was renovated by STG GmbH to give more than 2500 m² production and office area for highly efficient engineering, manufacturing and creating of advanced technological solutions, surrounded by greenwood and water in the southern suburbs of Cottbus.
STG GmbH now has a staff of more than 40 engineers and employees developing many good solutions for:

- energy savings and NOx-reduction
- progressive burners
- sensor technology
- innovative automation and process control systems

not only in Germany but in more than 20 European and overseas countries.

Traditionally STG finds its customers mainly in glass industry, but also in ceramic and metallurgic production.
