ISRA VISION LASOR is the leading international manufacturers of surface inspection systems. Product solutions "made by ISRA VISION LASOR" assist the customers in optimizing their production processes. With more than 60 years of combined experience the specialists have 1000 plus of these systems installed worldwide.
History & Products
The Floatscan Smart Vision System (aka 2f1) of ISRA VISION LASOR detects defects and measures optical quality in the manufacturing processes of Float and FPD glass. The result is a reduction of costs through minimizing reject rates.
Defects and deformation are detected online during the measurement process in x as well as y direction, core dimensions and refractive power (in mdpt respectively Zebra degree) are measured and the defects are classified and typified by neural network. Graphical results are displayed and documented supplying important information for the production unit.
With resolutions of up to 10 µm at different glass applications, the system offers an extraordinary performance spectrum. The measuring technology cannot be influenced by dust, environmental lights, air movement and process heat. The used LED illumination unit enables a glass inspection with a rest transmission rate of only 6 %.
Typical coating defects can be detected by color changes or different illumination combinations. This patented inspection technology is unique on the market. Beyond that, Off-Axis, the new LED illumination, detects and visualizes additional material defects on surfaces (i.e. scratches by handling mistakes). This special procedure is a consequent development of our well-tried 2f1 technology. It was firstly presented to the expert publicity at the occasion of the Glasstec 2002.
With a lifetime of more than 10 years the maintenance-free LED illuminations reach periods of time that cannot be achieved by conventional fluorescent illuminations.
