El mayor rubí y el diamante más grande están hechos en vidrio. Es una propuesta de los arquitectos Juan José Mateos y Camila Aybar presentada en la feria Veteco, Salón de la Ventana y el Cerramiento Acristalado (hasta el viernes en Ifema).

Con vidrios en vertical los arquitectos proponen una versión de un rubí. Está construido con placas Superdual-T serigrafiadas en rojo, de la empresa Vitro Cristalglass. Y con otras en blanco los diseñadores construyen su diamante. Es una forma de mostrar la potencialidad de este material.

Las placas rojas, opacas en el exterior y que permiten la visión desde el interior, son la nueva versión de Superdual-T, los vidrios serigrafiados con puntos blancos utilizados en el acristalamiento del edificio de Telefónica, de Rafael de La Hoz.
