Stein Heurtey - A great year for flat glass

With the orders for SHENZHEN furnace No. 1 in 1995 and SHENZHEN hot end No. 2 in 2001 STEIN HEURTEY could capture in 2003 a large part of the float glass market in China which was until then practically the exclusive domain of the Chinese Institutes. STEIN HEURTEY was awarded orders for 5 hot ends (melting furnace, tin bath and annealing lehr) and for 8 annealing lehrs for float glass and rolled glass. The Chinese orders could be won thanks to close collaboration between STEIN HEURTEY Evry, BELGIUM GLASS EQUIPMENT, STEIN HEURTEY MECC Shanghai and commercial support from BH-F Tianjin. This year STEIN HEURTEY was also awarded the order for an annealing lehr for GUARDIAN in Mexico, a customer for whom STEIN HEURTEY has become a regular supplier of annealing lehrs, and the order for a rolled glass annealing lehr for SISECAM in Turkey. With these new orders STEIN HEURTEY confirms its reference position in the field of float glass lines with a total of 10 hot ends and 53 annealing lehrs.
