Solutia Automotive Presents the Future in Automotive Glass

Visitors to Solutia Automotive´s booth at Design Los Angeles will get a glimpse of the future in automotive glass. Solutia´s booth will feature the Solutia Design Award-winning vehicle, the Citroen C4, with roof glass especially designed for the show. This will be the only appearance of this vehicle in the United States.

Solutia Inc., an independent, publicly owned enterprise headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, has a major presence in both national and international markets. Solutia produces Saflex(R) and Vanceva(R) brand polyvinyl butyral (PVB) interlayers, that are used to manufacture the laminated glass used in automotive, architectural and residential applications throughout the world, and is the sole supplier of PVB for aircraft -- the most demanding application. At its inception, Solutia Automotive´s side laminated glass was exclusively found on two high-end European sedans. Today, it can be found on 39 vehicle models, from coupes to full-size SUVs, by manufacturers from all over the world. Solutia Automotive manufactures interlayers used in laminated automotive glass, and is not a glass producer itself.
