Sancon Develops Raw Materials from Recycled Waste GlassSale of Recycled Materials Expected to Generate Additional Source of Revenue Sancon Resources Recovery, Inc. a rapidly growing waste management and waste recycling company, with operations in both China and Australia, announced that it is developing glass powder raw materials from recycled waste glass that the Company is currently collecting in China as part of its environmental services. Sancon expects the glass powder processed from the recycled glass can be used in the manufacturing of numerous consumer products. The Company believes that there is a significant demand for recycled glass and that it represents a potentially new source of high-margin revenue. Sancon expects to begin selling these recycled raw materials during the 2008 third quarter. Today, Sancon collects commercial and production waste for clients of different industries through Sancon´s network of depots, vehicles and recycling centers in China. Sancon, through its subsidiary in China, recycles as much as 500,000 Kilograms of waste glass each month. "The use of recycled glass materials greatly reduces the demand for scarce natural resources, helps reduce negative environmental impact and creates an important incremental revenue source for Sancon," said Jack Chen, Sancon´s CEO. "The use of innovative processes to more efficiently manage waste had helped drive the strong growth in Sancon´s revenue and margins, and plans to create consumable materials from waste glass is another example of this." The basis for the Company´s new products comes from glass in its raw material format in different chemical compositions with their correspondent physical characteristics. In ceramics, the refractory industry as well as the construction materials industry, glass powder is applied as sintering additive, filler material or optical component. The reactive and optical characteristics of the glass surfaces create the application of glass granules in resin-bound systems in mould making systems, architectural applications, finishing and building materials as well as for the production of paints and varnishes. In the field of grits and polishes and even in the cosmetic industry, the numerous possibilities of glass particles are used for their good abrasive properties. And in fire and explosion protection, glass is often applied for its specific melting and hygroscopic characteristics.
