Raute Precision Received a Major Order from Mexico

Raute Precision Oy, a member of Raute Group, has received an order from Guardian Industries, a global glass industry group, for a glass batch plant. The value of the order is approximately six million euros. The delivery will include the dosing, weighing and mixing system of raw materials as well a cullet return line for Guardian’s float glass factory to be built in El Marques, Mexico. The new order will be Raute Precision’s sixth plant project to Guardian. The factors behind the purchase decision were successful management of the previous batch plant projects as well as Raute’s sophisticated weighing, dosing and automation solutions. Raute has earlier supplied several weighing and dosing systems and plants to Latin America, i.e. to Brazil. The new batch plant to Guardian is Raute Precision’s first plant scale project to Mexico. In spite of the new order received, Raute Precision’s volume of orders at the year end will remain under the September’s level, because some projects already concluded will take effect first in 2004. Raute Precision supplies weighing and dosing systems and plants to process industries worldwide. The company’s strengths are its in-depth competence in weighing and dosing, and related automation, combined with the capability to manage global project deliveries.
