Owens Corning: Capacity to double at Russian plantOwens Corning is to more than double production capacity at its Gus-Khrustalny / Russia glass fibre composites plant. The expanded facility will produce a complete range of composite products and will incorporate the company´s patented “Advantex” and advanced glass-melting energy- and emission-efficient technology platforms. Construction is planned to begin in 2008, with start-up anticipated by the end of 2009.
