Kunshan to Become World´s Largest Glass Fiber Manufacturing BaseNanya Plastics, the subsidiary of Formosa Plastics Group, kicked off its third stage furnace at the PFG Fiber Glass (Kunshan) plant. The accumulated annual capacity for all three furnaces adds up to over 110,000 tons, putting Kunshan on pace to become the largest E-glass fiber manufacturing base globally. To build up a complete PCB manufacturing site, Nanya allied with leading American chemistry company PPG to create the joint venture PPG Glass Fiber (Kunshan)--the largest glass fiber plant in the world. The facility boasts four furnaces, three are currently operational, to supply products to Nanya plastics. Nanya has also been expanding its epoxy resin, glass fiber cloth and other lower-stream products through vertical integration. 07.05.2008, Nanya Plastics (Formosa Plastics Group) News material on the Site is copyright and belongs to the Company or to its third party news provider, and all rights are reserved.
