HEAT UP CEREMONY AT JIANGMEN FARUN GLASS IN P.R. CHINA

The heat-up ceremony of the 400 t/day float glass line of JIANGMEN FARUN GLASS took place on 28 November, 2004 and was hosted by Mr CHEN, Chairman of FARUN GLASS, in the presence of JP. SAUTERAUD, STEIN HEURTEY’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer. This contract is being carried out jointly by STEIN HEURTEY FRANCE, SHANGHAI STEIN HEURTEY MECC, its Chinese joint venture, and BELGIUM GLASS EQUIPMENT, its Belgian subsidiary. STEIN HEURTEY’s scope of supply includes the hot end package, i..e.: the 400 t/day melting furnace, tin bath through BGE, annealing lehr with drive and rollers and hot end control system. Start-up of the float glass line is scheduled for the beginning of January 2005.
