Guardian Industries partners with Sapa Fabricated Products to expand ShowerGuard® availability

Guardian Industries Corp. and Sapa Fabricated Products have entered into a strategic partnership to expand the availability of Guardian ShowerGuard® throughout North America. ShowerGuard is an innovative glass that is easier to clean than standard glass and maintains its original, like-new appearance over time.

Guardian is a global glass manufacturer engaged in the innovation, design and manufacture of various glass products, including shower glass products sold under the ShowerGuard® trademark.

Sapa Fabricated Products is the industry leader in bath enclosure systems (which are sold under the Alumax Bath Enclosures brand), and has its own network of registered and certified Alumax dealers. Alumax has been one of the world´s leading bath enclosure and shower door manufacturers since 1949.

Guardian ShowerGuard was introduced to the marketplace in 2006 as the first temperable, permanently protected shower glass. The surface of the glass  which is sealed through a patented ion beam process during manufacturing resists the corrosion and discoloration caused by constant exposure to heat, humidity, hard water, soaps and harsh cleaners.
