GlassPrint 2007 – REDUCED EARLY BIRD DELEGATE EXPIRES 2 JULY

The deadline for registering for GlassPrint 2007 at the reduced "early bird" rate expires on 2 July.

GlassPrint 2007 is Europe´s leading conference and exhibition for glass decoration and is described as a "must attend event" by Andrews Bopp, Director of Public Affairs at the Society of Glass and Ceramic Decorators. Glassmakers and decorators can register before 2 July for only EUR 395 at www.glassprint.org

To be staged at the easily accessible NH Moerfelden Hotel in Frankfurt, Germany on 21-22 November, GlassPrint 2007 is a two-day event that will present the latest trends and new developments for the flat and container glass industries.

In addition to technical papers, a flat glass key note presentation will be made by Rob Borgman, Industrial Glass Printer at SAS GLAS, part of Saint-Glass Solutions (Processing and Distribution network). His presentation will be titled "Architectural Printing Flat Glass - Trends and Requirements"

The container glass key note presentation will be made by Mr Joe Das, Packaging Manager at Nestlé, with the theme "Challenges on how we improve printing on glass and more importantly printing on the glass line of the glass manufacturer without incurring high cost".

At the time of going to press, the technical papers in the conference programme include the following:

Sun Chemical and Tiflex will also be provisionally presenting papers.

Many delegates have already registered at the reduced "early bird" rate, and include professionals from Croatia, Egypt, Germany, India, Kuwait, Pakistan, Portugal, Switzerland, Russia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom. Delegate registrations received after 2 July will charged at the normal rate of EUR 495.

The conference is accompanied by an exhibition of specialist suppliers of equipment, consumables, technology and services. The exhibition has grown by over 60% from the successful GlassPrint 2005 event, reflecting the growth of the developing and expanding decoration sector.
