GlassPrint 2007 Conference

The event will be jointly organised by ESMA and Chameleon Business Media, publishers of Glass Worldwide magazine. Both organisations are very excited at this exclusive agreement and look forward to co-operating to provide glass professionals with the latest technologies for glass decoration.

GlassPrint 2007 will once again offer delegates a series of presentations covering the latest screen printing trends and new developments for the flat and container glass industries. The conference will be accompanied by an exhibition of specialist suppliers of equipment, technology and services to this developing and expanding sector.

The event will again be held at the NH Moerfelden Hotel in Frankfurt and the duration will be extended to two days over 21st-22nd November 2007. Delegate fees will include access to the key note presentations, technical papers, exhibition access, refreshments, lunch and dinner.

ESMA successfully staged the first GlassPrint conference in October 2005, which attracted over 80 glassmakers and glass decorating companies. A truly international presence was achieved with delegates visiting from over 20 different countries.

The conference programme at GlassPrint 2005 was divided into two categories; new developments and new technologies. The key note presentation was from Andrew Bopp of the Society of Glass and Ceramic Decorators (SGCD), and further papers were presented by Ferro, Isimat, Kammann, MacDermid Autotype, Marabuwerke, Saati, Sun Chemical Screen and Thieme.

Topics covered included computer-to-screen, digital printing systems for ceramic inks, efficiency through statistical analysis, nano coatings, pre-press, UV economics, UV equipment and UV images.

Delegates benefited from visiting the accompanying exhibition presentations of ESMA, Fimor, Grünig-Interscreen, Isimat, Kammann, Kissel + Wolf, Lüscher, MacDermid Autotype, Marabuwerke, RUCO, Saatiprint, SEFAR, Sun Chemical Screen and Technigraf.
