DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions Price Increase for Butacite(R) PVB Interlayer

DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions announced a global price increase of 10 percent for all grades of DuPont(TM) Butacite® polyvinyl butyral interlayer and Spallshield® composite films, effective Oct. 1, 2005. DuPont´s Retrim subsidiary will also increase its interlayer prices globally by 10 percent. DuPont stated this action is required due to the unprecedented and sustained increases in petrochemical feedstock, energy and freight costs.
