DFI unveils Global Expansion Plan

Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI Nanotechnology), global developer and exclusive licensor of the Diamon-Fusion® patented hydrophobic nanotechnology, has recently announced a far-reaching global expansion plan that includes the opening of sales representations and operations in GunPo (SOUTH KOREA), Tel Aviv (ISRAEL) and Mexico City (MEXICO) along with the additional licensing of EIGHT (8) companies in EUROPE, among DFI’s main global business developments through the first half of Q1 2006, a DFI Senior Official reported.

InterWinGlobal, a KOREAN nanotech marketing company of unique entrepreneurial spirit, expressed its enthusiasm in joining the DFI Worldwide Team in the words of Steve Kim, its Managing Director, who said: “I’m pleased to represent DFI in Korea to open up the Asian market. Like most advanced societies, Korean people are following the Well-Being Trend thus customers tend to need a genuine glass with near-perfect surface to their full optical and spiritual satisfaction. I trust that this kind of irresistible human necessity will create a huge market for DFI in Korea and most of the Asian market.”

DFI’s presence in ISRAEL responds to DFI’s core R&D-based philosophy since Israel is the world’s leading country in investment per capita related to R&D and provides a technologically advanced market economy. DFI is currently working in a wide range of projects in the Middle East and Europe that include both R&D and licensing. DFI has been granted PATENTS (on the Diamon-Fusion® hydrophobic nano-coating) in both Israel and Korea.

The list of countries, where DFI has issued patents, also includes: USA, Canada, China, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, among the main countries. DFI’s recently-designated Regional Sales Manager in MEXICO, Alejandro Alvarez, commented on DFI’s new global outlook: “Our Mexico City- based office will serve not only to centralize DFI’s operations in Mexico but also to expand in Central America as well; we have multiple market segments in Mexico beyond Architectural Glass that we haven’t even touched yet; there are many other avenues to pursue additional revenues.”

Guillermo Seta, Vice President and Executive Director of DFI Global Operations, added: "The expansion of global markets is key to our strategic goals in 2006; our maturing nanoscience-based R&D projects will undoubtedly drive another year of innovation and increased market positioning.”

DFI Nanotechnology multi-functional characteristics include: water and oil repellency (hydrophobic and oleophobic,), impact and scratch resistance, protection against graffiti, dirt and stains, finger print protection, UV stability, additional electrical insulation, protection against calcium and sodium deposits and increased brilliance and lubricity. DFI’s nanocoating works at nanoscale levels to change the molecular composition of any silica-based surface. Diamon-Fusion® provides, in chemical terms, a ‘cross-linked’, ‘branched’ and ‘capped’ optically clear nano-film along with a strong and durable covalent bond.
