Chihuly Glass, Film In New BritainThe works of Dale Chihuly have found a friendly home at the New Britain Museum of American Art, whose exhibit, "Contemporary Glass: Chihuly And Beyond" runs through Oct. 26.
The film was inspired by Chihuly´s work at the amphitheater at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Wash., where he created work in front of an audience. Peter West´s documentary encompasses 30 years of Chihuly´s works, including his 13 best-known series. It will be shown at 1 and 4 p.m. It is 90 minutes and unrated.
