Better view thanks to self-cleaning coating
The climate in many parts of Germany during the cold season is characterized by high levels of humidity. If it cools down sharply at night and in the morning the relatively moist air meets cold window panes, air can absorb less moisture and, as a consequence, condensation forms on the glass surface. You will recognize this effect from cars parked outdoors. In just the same way, incidentally, moisture is deposited on the opaque outer panels of high heat insulated façades - with the difference that the condensation is scarcely visible here. What may seem romantic as morning dew after a cloudless night tends to be rather annoying on window panes. 09.05.2008, SAINT-GOBAIN GLASS DEUTSCHLAND GMBH News material on the Site is copyright and belongs to the Company or to its third party news provider, and all rights are reserved.
