Description
Purpose of the position
Develops new and differentiating technical solutions with short Time-to-market and provides application-related support for sales units in order to achieve the targets set in the Glass & Fibres industry segment.
Principal responsibilities
Develops new processes as well as further develops existing processes for the glass & fibres industry using industrial gases in order to achieve the objectives set for AD
Collaborates and coordinates R&D activities with customers and a wide range of application engineers from all RBUs, not only focusing on Europe.
Conducts technology-oriented meetings with customers on site
Represents The Linde Group at the customer, at trade fairs and at international conferences
Member of the global expert team for glass and the technology platform for combustion

Experience and readiness for travelling on a regular basis (national and international)
Required qualifications/experience
Masters in Science for energy enginnering and/or glass technology or adequate
Several years´ professional experience working within glass production for container, float or fibres.
Several years´s professional experience working within designing glass melting furnaces or any glass technology development
Experience as a project manager responsible for cost management and ability to work independently and proactively are a prerequisite.
Experience with control and analytical methods are desired.
