Assist with the technical and logistical operations of state-of-the-art facility containing hot shops and facilities for warm and cold glass work, and used as classrooms, demonstration space and rental space for glass artists.
Requires BFA with min. of minor in Glass, or equivalent, and 2 years supervisory experience in a similar facility that includes a hot shop, with a basic knowledge of equipment in all areas of the glass studio and familiarity with a variety of glassmaking techniques.
Experience in a unionized environment preferred.
Must be able to balance artistic and practical roles of the studio within a larger museum environment.
Requires excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to problem-solve.
