SolarGlas AG is going to build the first oxy-fuel fired float glass furnace 100% dedicated to solar applications. The project creates about 120 new jobs and complies with latest requirements to technology and environmental exigencies. The plant has a capacity of 400 tpd. The location in Forst (Brandenburg), Germany , is situated close to large solar module manufacturers in this area. Production start-up of the line is scheduled for June 2009.

Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor´s degree in glass/ceramic engineering is ideal, related technical fields may also be considered. Supervisory experience in a production environment is preferred.
Candidates must have a proven track practical record in batch and furnace operations, maintenance etc...
Knowledge of the methods and quality standards for glass making is ideal.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a team-based environment. Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills with good team dynamics and possess strong planning and organizational skills.
Must have knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Applications.
Must be able to communicate clearly with other plant employees to ensure success in this position
