For more than 10 years we have been developing and constructing sector-oriented complex system solutions for laser material processing and handling and assembly systems for the American, European and Asian markets.

Our product philosophy
The manufacturing systems developed by us are centered around laser technology, which permits fast and precise machining of diverse materials. With manufacturing processes automated and inspection integrated in them, low-productive manual work is eliminated. Moreover, this allows product quality to be tested with objectivity and trackability. Thanks to the use of up-to-date communication systems, we can supervise equipment statuses worldwide and promptly respond to process deviations.

Our core competencies  

The manufacturing systems developed by us center around laser technology for high-speed and high-precision processing of different materials. JENOPTIK Automatisierungstechnik GmbH has specialized in 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional processing of non-metals.

The name of the laser system product line is JENOPTIK-VOTAN and comprises different application-related series solutions. 

In the product line JENOPTIK-VOTAN™ G (Glass), the laser processes brittle materials like glass, ceramics or semiconductor. Specific areas of application are display glasses, substrate ceramics, float glass, thick glass, thin glass and thin film solar cells.

We use the following technologies:

  • Laser scribing and Breaking (TLS-Technology)
  • Laser Full-Body-Cut (LBIS-Technologie)
  • Structuring of solar cell surfaces with Laser (P1) or mechanical (P2, P3)

Our range of services comprises incipient development and pre-series testing in our Customer Application Center, the production of systems, system integration in cycled lines, assistance at all stages of production start-up, and global 24-hour service based on our strategic approach to supply our customers with system solutions from a single source.

The automation of production processes with customized handling and assembly systems from JENOPTIK Automatisierungstechnik GmbH eliminates non-productive manual jobs and allows product quality to be tested and traced by objective methods. Our assembly lines are of modular design and are configured for specific tasks and customer requirements.
